Where Can You Get Free Spanish Learning Books?

I went from almost no Spanish knowledge to living comfortably in Latin America in about two months using Spanish Learning books. However, the Spanish learning books I used are not traditional books, and they may surprise you.

A bonus: many of them are either cheap or FREE!

When many kids in the United States Learn Spanish in high school, much of their learning comes out of textbooks. Now, how many students come out of high school Spanish speaking much of the language? That’s right, barely any. Traditional Spanish language learning books are only good for giving you a base in Spanish, but don’t provide much else.

What you need to REALLY learn Spanish is to simply build a base in the language, and then just DIVE IN and IMMERSE yourself in it.

The Spanish learning books I used were VERY effective, but will surprise you. Much of my fluency in Spanish came from first children’s books in Spanish, then just regular ol’ books! That’s right, I simply built a foundation in Spanish, and then used that foundation to immerse myself in the language simply by reading real books.

I started with children’s books because they provide very basic language, and I was able to understand almost all of it. If there was something I didn’t understand, I simply looked it up in a dictionary or looked for it online at a free translation tool. After just about a week or two of reading children’s books, I could get through all of them without any extra help.

That’s when I moved on to regular books. Simply read a chapter at a time and, most importantly, BE PATIENT! Translate words you don’t know as you go along. I often recommend even just reading a newspaper every day, since it will provide simpler language but still be correct Spanish.

Build your base of Spanish with the best software and audio learning tools, and then move on to the best Spanish learning books — regular children’s books, newspapers, and regular books! This will make you fluent faster than you could imagine. It worked for me!
